We’re not even home from our wedding yet, but Carly sent us a sneak peak before she left town and WOW! She’s amazing. She’s also a trooper. We absolutely needed an adventure photographer who could see our vision and literally get down & dirty hiking to our elopement location. SHE WAS THE ONE.
Our day started @ 3am at the bottom of the canyon in Zion NP hiking 7 miles roundtrip Observant Point to a cliff’s edge in 25° weather. Then it ended in a river bed at the bottom of another canyon with her capturing every single moment.

How Does the Process Work?
1.) Let's Connect
Start by scheduling your complimentary consultation! We’ll set up a phone or video chat to get to know each other better. During our conversation, we’ll discuss your vision, timeline, location ideas, and any questions you might have about your big day.
2.) Make it Official
Once you’ve chosen your date, we’ll lock it in by signing the contract and submitting a 25% retainer to secure your spot. From there, we’ll begin brainstorming and planning the perfect destination for your celebration.
3.) Planning the Details
You’ll receive my comprehensive planning guide filled with tips, tricks, and helpful advice. I’ll also send a detailed questionnaire to learn more about your preferences, which will help me scout the best locations for your wedding. I’ll handle all research related to permits and laws, ensuring everything is done properly. I’ll also provide vendor recommendations to bring your vision to life.
After I provide the list of vendors and any paperwork that needs done, you will choose and book the vendors and fill out the paperwork with your information. I handle any permits that are photo related. Want to add some adventure to your day? I’m happy to help plan activities such as hiking, kayaking, or fireside celebrations. We’ll stay in touch leading up to your wedding day to ensure every detail is in place for a seamless experience.
4.) Celebrate Your Best Day Ever!
The big day is finally here! All of our planning will come together to create an unforgettable experience. Your job is to relax, stay present, and soak in every moment with your partner as you commit to a lifetime together. I’ll be there to capture it all beautifully and authentically.
What does a full elopement day look like?
Don’t worry—this isn’t eight hours of endless posing! Instead, it’s a full day of adventures, celebrations, and authentic moments. You’ll share new experiences, explore stunning locations, get married, and celebrate in a way that feels true to you. Activities often include hiking, ATV rides, kayaking, pub hopping, fireside moments, helicopter rides, and more. The day will fly by as you focus on making memories together.
How far in advance should we expect to book?
I’ve worked with couples planning elopements anywhere from two years to just two weeks out! However, most couples book 6-9 months in advance. This allows plenty of time to secure permits, find the perfect attire, and arrange travel accommodations.
Can we bring our family, friends, or pets?
Absolutely! Many couples choose to include a few loved ones in their elopement. My advice? Only bring guests who will add to your happiness and make the day even more special. If you’d prefer a private celebration, there are plenty of creative ways to include family and friends in your journey without them being physically present—I’d be happy to share ideas!
As for pets, I love when furry friends join the adventure! If your pet will be accompanying us on the trails, they must remain leashed. I also recommend having someone available to help manage them so you can focus on enjoying your day without added stress.
